CDlinux 0.9.0 released
CDlinux 0.9.0 released at December 19, 2008 when I was writing this CDlinux 0.6.2 Usage Summary diaries series. The releasing speed of CDlinux is so fast. Just like its jet plane logo: 🙂
According to the News, CDlinux 0.9.0 is a major devlopment version step to 1.0, There are many changes/enhancements over the last release, including:
support “persistent mode”, auto save/restore user changes
support for printing
support booting directly from ISO image
samba client and printing support
support for java
a new shiny boot splash
a revised and more efficient package management system
And, have upgraded many packages. See its News for detail.
I have tried its function of “auto save/restore user changes and keep hardware profile”, and the usage about “booting directly from ISO image” has been documented at Can I boot from the CDlinux ISO Image directly?.
The english and chinese documents for CDlinux 0.9.0 has been available at CDlinux website.
Enjoy it.
