好吧，如你所知，MobileMate 实际上是一款有特定用途的微型 Linux 操作系统。所以让我们熟悉它的基本使用环境。MobieMate V0.1 是基于 TinyCore Linux 3.7.1 定制，你可以参考 TinyCore Linux 的 屏幕截图和使用视频，还有参考它的维基获得更多详情。

这里我们只介绍一些与使用 MobileMate 转换音视频文件相关的环境使用。你可以点击桌面的任何空白处调出弹出菜单。

默认屏幕分辨率是 1024×768，如你需要改变，点击底部工具栏第5个图标“Panel”或者“弹出菜单”→“系统工具”→“控制面板”，调出控制面板。点击“安装”列的“Xvesa”，输入分辨率前面的数字，按回车，输入鼠标类型的数字（通常选1），按回车。

然后，点击工具栏的第1个图标“Exit”或者点击“弹出菜单”→“注销”，选择“退出至命令行”单选按纽，点击“确定(O)”，然后我们进入文本控制台的提示符，输入“startx”再次启动桌面环境，现在将显示新的屏幕分辨率了。

MobileMate 默认自动挂载所有可挂载的磁盘，并且也自动挂载新加入的 USB 驱动器和 CD/DVD 驱动器。但是，如果你想卸载分区或驱动器，例如，在你拔出U盘前你必须先卸载它；或者，你需要手动挂载驱动器，那么这时你需要使用 “磁盘挂载工具”。

点击第8个图标“Mount”或者“弹出菜单”→“系统工具”→“磁盘挂载工具”，启动“磁盘挂载工具”。绿色的项目表示驱动器是挂载了的，与之相对红色的项目表示驱动器没有被挂载。点击项目切换挂载状态。点击“刷新”获取所有驱动器最新的挂载状态，比如，当你新插入U盘的时候。

点击底部工具栏的第10个图标“PCManFM-ModFileManager”或者“弹出菜单”→“应用程序”→“文件管理器”启动文件管理器。左边窗口默认显示家目录，tce 目录和所有磁盘和分区，点击它在右边窗口显示它的内容。请注意，你不能在这里挂载和卸载一个磁盘或分区，做这些你需要上面说的“磁盘挂载工具”。

有时，你需要用 root 权限操作文件或目录，点击菜单项“工具(T)”→“以 Root 权限打开当前文件夹”。

你可以在文件管理器里面播放大部分视频或音频文件，只需双击里面的文件即可。如果不能播放，右键点击文件，“弹出菜单”→“打开文件…(W)”→“使用其他程序打开(O)”，在“命令行(C)：”后面文本区域输入“mplayer.me”，点击“确定”。

你可以在文件管理器里双击文本文件编辑它。如果打不开，使用上面的方法，但是用“editor”代替上面的“mplayer.me”。

你可以在“urxvt”终端里打开当前文件夹。只需右键单击文件管理器右边窗口任意空白，“弹出菜单”→“在终端中打开”。

你可以用“程序启动器”运行程序。点击底部工具栏第7个图标“Run”或者点击“弹出菜单”→“系统工具”→“运行程序”调用它。在里面的文本区域输入命令，然后点击“确定”启动程序。

在 MobileMate 里有2个终端，一个是“Aterm”，你可以点击第2个图标“Aterm”或者点击“弹出菜单”→“系统工具”→“终端”调用它。另一个终端是“Urxvt”，它可以支持 unicode 字体（例如，unicode 中文字体），你可以用上述“文件管理器”小节里的方法在文件管理器里调用它，或者使用上述“运行程序”小节里的“程序启动器”运行“urxvt”。

MobileMate 里面默认文本编辑器叫作“editor”。点击底部工具栏第4个图标“Editor”或者点击“弹出菜单”→“系统工具”→“编辑器”启动它。有时，你需要使用 root 权限编辑文件，比如，/opt/bootlocal.sh，你可以在终端或者上述“运行程序”工具里使用“sudo editor”命令。

你可以在 MobileMate 里播放视频和音频文件。你可以使用在上述“文件管理器”小节里的方法在文件管理器里播放它，或者使用上述“运行程序”小节里的“运行程序”工具，输入“mplayer.me /你的路径/文件名”来播放它。

当播放视频或音频文件时，你可以使用“音量调节器”调节音量。点击底部工具栏最后那个图标“sgmixer”或者点击“弹出菜单”→“应用程序”→“音量调节器”调用它。

点击底部工具栏里首个图标“Exit”或者“弹出菜单”→“注销”退出 MobileMate。有3个可选的单选按纽：关机、重启和“退出至命令行”。当你在“控制面板”里的“Xvesa”工具里修改了屏幕分辨率，你可以选择“退出至命令行”，然后在提示符后面输入“startx”命令启动桌面使你的修改生效。

当你已经设置了“备份设备”（有像“sda1/tce”之类的文字在备份操作下拉菜单下面，如果你使用我们维基里叙述的安装方法把 MobileMate 安装进了U盘或者虚拟机，“备份设备”会是设置好的），你可以点击“备份操作”下拉菜单项目：“无”、“备份”和“安全”其中之一。

默认选项是“备份”，如果你已经改变了没在“/opt/.xfiletool.lst”中列出的“/opt/.filetool.lst”所列文件内容，你需要这个选项使你的改变持久化。但是，在这之前，你仍然需要在改变了文件内容后保存文件。例如，如果你使用“sudo editor /opt/bootlocal.sh”命令编辑这个文件，当你关闭编辑器时你必须保存文件并在退出“MobileMate”选择“备份”选项，否则，当重启 MobileMate 时，文件“/opt/bootlocal.sh”将丢失改变。当然，你也可以在保存你编辑的文件之后使用“filetool.sh -b”命令使这个文件持久化。

备份文件位于“你的 TCE 目录（例如，/mnt/sda1/tce）/mydata.tgz”。

如果你选择“安全”选项，将备份你的旧“mydata.tgz”文件到“mydatabk.tgz”，然后备份你需要备份的文件到“mydata.tgz”里面。

大多数情况下，如果你不需要备份“/opt/.filetool.lst”里的任何文件，在“备份操作”下拉菜单里选择“无”，将略过备份过程加速 MobileMate 关机或重启。你也可以使用命令“sudo poweroff”关闭 MobileMate 或“sudo reboot”重启而不备份，你可以在终端或在“运行程序”工具里执行这些命令，这个方法的详情见：TinyCore Linux维基的关机或重启。

You can customize VirtualBox virtual machine shared folder auto-mount behavior. The way is modify the line(without double quotation marks: “”, the same below)

"/opt/custom/bin/amountvboxshare.sh >/dev/null 2>&1 &"

in file “/opt/bootlocal.sh”. For example, you need poll the shared folders in host, mount the shared folder(in spite of selection of “Auto-mount) added newly whenever, excute the command

"sudo editor /opt/bootlocal.sh"

in the console or “Run Program” tool, replace the line with

"/opt/custom/bin/amountvboxshare.sh allalways >/dev/null 2>&1 &"

in the ”/opt/bootlocal.sh“. Save the file and excute the command “filetool.sh -b” for “opt/bootlocal.sh” persistence. Of course, you can also excute in the console or “Run Program” tool, e.g.,

"sudo /opt/custom/bin/amountvboxshare.sh allonce"

Because MobileMate VMWare/VirtualBox virtual machine only fully integrate the folder sharing part of guest additions. So, you need switch between the host and guest manually.

When you click on the guest, the guest will capture the mouse and keyboard. If you want return into host, press “Ctrl+Alt” in VMWare and press right “Ctrl” in VirtualBox.

Please note, the mouse integration(switch between host and guest automatically) works partly in MobileMate VirtualBox virtual machine. But, it behaves abnormally sometimes. So, the best way is “Disable Mouse Integration” in menu “Machine”, then switch between host and guest manually.
